HINO Motors Philippines (HMP) is in full throttle this year. After expansion initiatives in Mindanao with the recent groundbreaking ceremony in General Santos, Cagayan de Oro and Davao, the formidable Japanese truck maker celebrated another milestone with the impressive opening of its newest dealership along United Nations Avenue in Manila.
With One Alliance Motor Source Inc. (OAMSI) under the Broadway Motors Group (BMG) taking the reins in this strategic location, Hino is no less any more proud and ever confident to expand further in this part of the bustling Metro.
“Hino remains in full throttle on further expanding our footprint nationwide. After a dealership opening in CDO and a groundbreaking in General Santos, Mindanao, we are also strengthening our presence in Metro Manila with this new dealership opening. We extend our commitment to bring total customer satisfaction as a one-stop shop for all trucking needs in Manila. HMP will work hand in hand with Hino UN Avenue to ensure smooth operations,” HMP President Hiroshi Aoki said.
“As we continue our goal to be a one-stop shop for trucks and buses, we always ensure the quality of our products. Thus, part of making sure of quality products is strongly supporting our dealer partners, which, in turn, will all eventually pave way for customer satisfaction,” he added.
One of the most respected companies in the automotive business since 1961, BMG aspires to continue its winning legacy with the addition of the brand Hino.
As the leading truck maker in Japan, for one, Hino’s reputation for quality, durability and reliability will be on full display in the said 1,000-square-meter Manila showroom, which features a top-of-the-line fleet of light-, medium-and heavy-duty trucks.
Oplan nation-building
OAMSI President and CEO Leoncio Lei Yee Jr. averred that their company is committed to “helping build the nation” in response to the national government’s call for private partners to become solutions providers that effectively participate in spurring economic growth and development in the transport and logistics industry. They pledged to actively participate in order to advance this agenda and contribute to the country’s robust economy by providing quality vehicles necessary to support the demands of a fast-growing infrastructure building.
“This is very timely, as we become a transport-solution provider for the booming real estate, construction and logistics problems surrounding Metro Manila. With this, we will assure the customers that we offer performance, reliability and fuel economy,” Yee expressed during his speech.
“In today’s ever-changing and challenging times, we also commit to be ever innovative and dynamic with our products and, thus, further dedicating ourselves to helping build the nation.”
New, proud and very promising
Meanwhile, HMP Chairman Vicente Mills Jr. mentioned during a parley with the media that the demand for their kind of products is ever-growing.
“The automotive industry has been booming these past years, which is obviously seen everywhere. But we assure you that we are on the road, not just for a joy-ride but we are there to deliver products and bring people to their destinations. Hino is very proud that we get to move cargo and people,” Mills shared.
“With this, as we continue to grow aggressively, we primarily look forward to answering the needs of the economy,” he added.
Yee, for his part, said their company has established a good reputation in terms of customer satisfaction throughout the years and, thus, has developed and offered friendship, among others.
And because of this, the head honcho is ever-optimistic that they would be able to bolster the brand in this part of the country.
“Hino, I believe, is the fastest-growing brand in the country right now and this is shown in our double-digit jump from the previous years. We at this branch are aligning ourselves in that direction to be able to meet the target. We are still new and very promising,” he stated.
