ISUZU Philippines Corp. (IPC) continues its dealership expansion and improvement program this year with the opening of a new dealership in Northern Luzon.
Operated by one of IPC’s long-time dealer principals in the region BMD Motors, the relocated Tuguegarao branch recently opened its doors in a bigger and more accessible facility located in Barangay Santa Teresa, Iguig, Cagayan.Gracing the occasion were none other than IPC President Hajime Koso along with BMD Motors EVP Dra. Zinnia Domingo-Perez, BMD Motors Treasurer Rizalina Domingo and Isuzu Tuguegarao Branch Head Ma. Rizalina Mijares. Other special guests were Isuzu Motors Limited (IML) Senior Counselor Yoshinori Ida accompanied by his better half Mikiko Ida. Likewise, representatives of the local government and bank companies were also present during the inauguration.
“The opening of the new Isuzu Tuguegarao in Iguig is part of our business development program, which includes opening of new outlets, renovation and relocation of select offices to better serve our clients nationwide. This is to show that our company does not only provide high-quality products but also excellent sales and after-sales service,” Koso said. Situated along the provincial highway, the new facility sits in a capacious 5,000-square-meter property with ample parking area and generous driveways. The captivating façade highlights an all-glass front panels to attract more natural daylight while making the display are more visible from the outside. Inside the expansive showroom alone, the high-ceiling layout offers a conducive ambience and can accommodate more vehicles on display, including trucks.
But the showroom with a reception section is just part of the building’s appealing covered layout. There’s even a spacious, cozy and family-friendly waiting area complete with TV, comfy sofas and kid’s play space. The mezzanine section, on the other hand, lodges the administrative offices apart from the parts and services receiving area at the ground floor.
The service area at the back, meantime, is accessible through the left entrance with a generous driveway. Its vast area of service facility is equipped with numerous electronic lifters for passenger cars. There are also segregated bays for other services just below the employee sleeping quarters. Interestingly, there’s also a separate spacious and covered area for servicing heavy-duty trucks with sunken portion for under chassis repairs.
Evidently, Isuzu holds a strong presence in the Cagayan Valley region, as well as Central Luzon. Its longtime dealer principal BMD Motors alone already operates numerous Isuzu dealerships in the provinces of Bulacan, Meycauayan, Cabanatuan and Isabela. Now with the new site opened, it will enable the company to be more confident in providing excellent service to its clients in the region.
“Cagayan is booming in all the different ways, we see a lot of businesses opening in the area and we want to keep up with the growing economy. With this new site, we will be able to cater to more customers, not just for sales but most important in after-sales,” Domingo-Perez said.
Aside from addressing the growing market in the region, the move to relocate and expand the branch along the major thoroughfare will also provide an easy access to motorists traveling the highway in both directions.
