ABS-CBN soap opera Kadenang Ginto is a consistent top-rater in its afternoon timeslot. When it started, the catfights of its female leads, Dimples Romana and Beauty Gonzales, and the intense scenes involving the characters of Albert Martinez and Adrian Alandy were always being talked about.
But giving more than their fair share to the success of the show is the young cast of Kadenang Ginto. Composed of Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri and Seth Fedelin, these young actors have touched the younger market (especially now that it is summer and school is out) and they are now loyal followers of the show. Proof of this is its massive success online as its daily highlights on YouTube hit over 800 million views, with almost each video reaching more than one million views. The series is also a major hit on iWant as it topped the list of most-watched programs on the streaming service last month, earning over 1.5 million views.
Its success has also translated on social media to young people as the series spurred countless of memes that netizens enjoy. Some even make their own versions of iconic confrontations.
Such is the power of Andrea, Kyle, Seth and Francine that Dreamscape Entertainment will launch them as “The Gold Squad.”
They are packaged as “fun, responsible, driven and family-oriented teens from different backgrounds with diverse life experiences.”
Besides being highlighted in Kadenang Ginto, The Gold Squad will soon have an album with Star Records.

I really missed kadenang ginto specially francine diaz. I hope that they can get back to air with another quality show, and the whole ABSCBN network specially now that not all of people has capability to pay internet to watch something.
