GONE are the days when most women would go out bare-faced. Well-groomed and shaped eyebrows are always important. As they say, “kilay is life.” Permanent makeup has helped women achieve their goals toward a seemingly “woke up like this” look.
Klarisse Tabao established The Eyebrowdery to offer women an innovative way of getting that look. “We are very proud to say that our materials come from natural plant extracts, thus making them very organic, environment-friendly and 100-percent safe,” said Tabao, who studied eyebrow embroidery at Aesthetics International Academy in Singapore.
Dolly Tan, the academy’s principal, highly commended Tabao for her skills. From the school, Tabao received a Diploma in Permanent Makeup Embroidery.
Tabao has always been a girly girl who loves makeup and anything related to beauty, so makeup embroidery is something that she would naturally get involved in.
“There are really women who want to wake up looking like they have makeup on. For others, eyebrow embroidery helps them in doing their brows before going out, because they just need to follow the shape,” said Tabao.
Eyebrowdery serves women’s need for beauty maintenance such as eyebrow tinting, waxing, threading, shaving, plucking, manicure, pedicure, eyelashes extension and many more.

I WAS recently sent a box of the new Maybelline 2H Superstay Foundation. This product was something I was quite excited about because I wasn’t really into the Fit Me line except for the powder, which I really love.
My thoughts about the foundation after using it for two days:
It goes on smoothly, despite the thick texture. It’s not cakey or anything like that.
I use Natural Beige (220). My beef with drugstore foundations is that they’re always too orange or too pink. This is true to color for me and didn’t become grayish as the day went on.
I didn’t break out after two days. It’s too early to tell though. I will post a more thorough review in a month. As for the 24-hour claim, I am not so sure about that. The foundation held up pretty well for eight hours. It wasn’t invincible as Kat Von D’s Lock-It Foundation but it was more natural-looking. n
