The Muntinlupa Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) has extended the deadline for renewal of business permits to January 31.
Local Economic and Investment Promotion Officer Gary Llamas said they decided to move the deadline originally set on January 20 to encourage business owners to pay the required fees without penalties.
During the opening day on January 3, Mayor Jaime Fresnedi lauded the top 5 early taxpayers, namely, Josielyn Cabalza Daez of E.J.D. Softdrinks; Carlito de Guzman, Lito and Lani Food Haus; Cesar Bronola Lastrilla, Mercy Salon; Cherrie Flores, Mini-Mini Store; and Ma. Pinky Lynsey, MPLG Begona Trading.
He extended his gratitude for their punctuality in paying their dues and renewing their businesses in the city.
With their continued investment in Muntinlupa, Fresnedi said that they are the local government’s partners for development.
To return the favor, the local chief executive awarded certificates of recognition and grocery packages to them.
The city mayor is hopeful that these taxpayers will be seen as role models by other entrepreneurs in Muntinlupa.
For ease and convenience, a one-stop shop has been put in place at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex in Tunasan. This is also aimed at saving more time for entrepreneurs in the processing of the documents they need.
Meanwhile, requirements from barangay halls and regulatory offices can be acquired in the renewal area, as representatives of these units will be rendering service simultaneously.
Taxpayers can also pay using debit cards for cashless transaction in their renewal of business permits.
Likewise, mobile automated teller machines from Banco de Oro and Land Bank of the Philippines are available in the venue.
A closed-circuit television system is installed all over the place for security and transparency purposes.
Business owners renewing their permits can also access the Internet via free Wi-fi connection powered by Smart and Globe Telecom.
A free shuttle service is also given to clients going to the venue. Pickup points are at Muntinlupa City Hall Quadrangle in Putatan and Muntinlupa City Public Market in Alabang.
The list of requirements is posted on Muntinlupa BPLO Facebook page atwww. fb.com/bplo.muntinlupa. For inquiries, call (02)851BPLO (2756) or (02)8213266.
