MUNTINLUPA continues to bring national government services closer to the people as it welcomes the Philippine Statistics Authority’s (PSA) move to locate to Ayala Malls-South Park in Alabang.
The PSA relocates to a bigger space at the fourth floor of this establishment to accommodate more clients from the southern part of Metro Manila and other neighboring cities applying for civil-registry documents.
Formerly called National Statistics Office, the PSA transfers to the newest retail development from its previous site in Starmall, also in Alabang.
This new satellite office of PSA is now accepting applications for certificates of birth, marriage, and death; certificate of no marriage; and other civil-registration services.
Mayor Jaime Fresnedi lauded the PSA for this initiative since it gives ease of access to state services for the locals.
As part of its commitment to provide efficient and effective services to the constituents, the local government of Muntinlupa continues to forge alliances with various agencies for installation of their satellite offices in the city.
Recently, the Securities and Exchange Commission put up its first outlet in Muntinlupa City Hall to serve clients from the region and become the southern hub of Luzon.
Other office locators here are the National Bureau of Investigation, Department of Foreign Affairs National Capital Region South, Philippine Health Insurance Corp. and Social Security Systems, among others.
The Philippine Information Agency (PIA) also expressed its interest in putting up an office in the city in partnership with Muntinlupa Public Information Office.
PIA’s satellite branch will become the agency’s information center for communication practitioners in Taguig, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Laguna and other nearby towns.
With much convenience and access to national government services through satellite offices of state agencies, Muntinlupa City continues to position itself as a preferred place to do business and a residential haven for the locals.
