SM Prime Holdings Inc. said over the weekend that it opened its office building tower in Iloilo City, hoping to serve the business-process outsourcing (BPO) sector in the area.
With a total leasable area of 23,000 square meters (sq.m.) across 13 office floors, the company said Strata Tower aims to establish BPO and office presence within the city and its neighboring towns.
It has retail shops in the ground floor, including SM Savemore Supermarket, it said.
Strata Tower is located along Iloilo City’s main highway and transport backbone, Benigno Aquino Jr. Avenue.
It is accessible via a second-floor covered bridgeway across SM City Iloilo Mall, providing ease of public transportation for employees 24/7.
SM Offices is the commercial property development and management arm of SM Prime. SM Offices offers 35 operational office properties with a combined gross floor area of 642,000 sq.m. in 20 strategic locations across the Philippines.
