BANK of Commerce has signed a partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Bank Aljazira (BAJ), to allow Filipinos in the kingdom to directly remit funds to the Philippines and have access to better exchange rates.
The partnership, signed recently by representatives of both firms, enables overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) to send their money to the Philippines through any branch of BAJ’s remittance arm Fawri Money Transfer Services. Fawri is a major market player in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with established associations with leading money transfer
organizations worldwide.
Filipino workers can also benefit from higher exchange rates and real-time processing of credit-to-account and cash pick-up remittance services.
“We know how important it is to our OFWs that their hard-earned money reach their loved ones back home. That is why we wanted to make sure that through this partnership they are provided with safe, fast and efficient remittance services,” said Bank of Commerce President Roberto C. Benares.
