EVERY Filipino and tourist wants to go on a vacation in Boracay, which is known for its pure white powdery sand, beautiful sunsets, watersports activities, great food and lively nightlife.
Boracay is probably the most popular beach island in the country. The island has been named by Travel & Leisure Magazine as the “World’s Best Island” for two years in a row and was included in the Top 20 best beach destinations in the world by Condé Nast Traveller Magazine.
Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc., the country’s leading homebuilder in the Philippines, recently held a press briefing at the Shangri-La at the Fort Manila in Bonifacio Global City, wherein it announced its newest addition to the Vista Residences brand—the Costa Vista Boracay. The resort will sit on Punta Bunga beach on the island’s northwestern tip, atop one of the highest points of the island fronting a beach that is both isolated and select. Costa Vista will be spread over a sprawling 6.5-hectare property surrounded by the finest hotels of the world’s top chains and it will have a direct access to the beach.
According to Vista Residences Sales and Marketing Manager and Residential Leasing Head Nova Noval, “The number of foreign visitors to the Philippines increases by over 30 percent every year—bringing in 2 million tourists in 2016.”
By 2020, that number is expected to reach close to 4 million. Last year 28 percent of the country’s tourists went to Boracay. At least 44,000 of our locals, including overseas Filipino workers, visit the island each year and with the expansion of the Caticlan Airport that will soon finish, more tourists to Boracay will have easy access, which will allow international flights to fly directly to the province.
Costa Vista is beautifully designed and created to blend elegantly with the cliffs and greenery of the island. The resort will be hidden in a forest of palms trees of a breathtaking variety, and strewn gracefully on the gentle hills of the island. “We will have a commercial quarter of malls, stalls and shops that will offer souvenirs of the island,” Vista Residences President and Managing Director Elizabeth Kalaw said.
The resort will have restaurants of various international cuisines prepared by great chefs and cooks, as well as resorts and hotels ranging from six star to hole-in-the-wall. “Costa Vista will have six stunning residential towers, private villas and a 250-room hotel that will rise gracefully around a pavilion with viewing deck, pool and a convention center. “The mixed-use project will cost at P2.2 billion,” Kalaw added.
Vista Land Chairman Manuel B. Villar Jr. said, “Costa Vista Boracay is another strategic step in expanding our presence on Boracay Island, bringing Vista Residences’s expertise in one of the most popular world beach destinations. We are taking advantage of the increasing number of tourist arrivals and the favorable macroeconomic condition of the Philippines. This will be attractive for both end-users and investors who are looking for either a home or a source of rental income.”
“The midrise towers of Costa Vista will offer studio to luxuriously appointed two-bedroom units (24 sq.m to 48.6 sq.m) with a preselling price that starts at P3.6 million,” Noval added. Each unit will be equipped with 24/7 state-of-the-art security and safety protocols, including a closed-circuit television system in all the common areas, Wi-fi, smoke and fire warning, and sprinkler systems. Concierge, receptionists and security guards will address the needs of the tenants.
“Costa Vista Boracay is situated in between Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa and Crimson Hotel,” Noval remarked. The resort is 15 minutes away from three of the island’s popular beaches, including White Beach, Bulabog Beach and Puka Beach. However, Mount Luho, the island’s highest peak where the view is beyond stunning, is also only a few minutes away from the site.
Boracay is still in extreme need of accommodations and homes to supply the massive influx of tourists and this is why Vista Residences is creating homes on the island, so more people can be forever part of this piece of exquisite beauty and sanctuary. At Costa Vista, every room, every space is designed with creative, ingenious and practical space planning. It is something Vista Residences and its mother company, Vista Land, is known for. Function, design and the building of dwellings that families can truly call a home is central to the company’s philosophy. Thus, in their condominiums, there are fewer units per floor than in most condos today. The condos are designed to offer better privacy and many are given the luxury of balconies that open to amazing views.
Vista Residences carries with it Vista Land’s four decades of experience in building homes, developing vertical properties and creating master-planned communities—integrating into every project an expertise in space planning, and flair for finding accessible and attractive locations.
Staying at a hotel or renting a place in Boracay could be costly, which is why vacationers stay only for a few days after spending a hefty cost on airfare. “Thirty percent of the visitors in Boracay want to own a property for retirement or investment reasons,” Noval added.
Vista Residences offers a piece of paradise as an investment, or simply your vacation home away from the city’s hustle and bustle. So if you’ve been aspiring to own a place on this exotic island, Costa Vista Boracay may be your dream come true.
