Part One
ONE of my long-standing work passions is technology and how it affects my various sandboxes—from financial services, agriculture, health care, retail and, more recently, real estate.
From my earlier series on “Teching Up,” the industry using big data, analytics and even marketing and sales, my ongoing series will touch on how we’re gamifying the real-estate experience and creating real-time user experiences for the property developers and real estate agencies using augmented and virtual reality.
Arthaland Corp. continues to be at the forefront of sustainability and cultivating innovation. With the recent launch of ArthaLand Century Pacific Tower, the company breaks new ground and introduces its partnership with Unity through the CREATOR Center of Excellence, making ArthaLand a standard bearer not only in real estate leadership and innovation but also across industries.
As the world’s most popular game- and 3D-development engine, Unity counts Coca-Cola, Disney, NASA, Warner Bros. and Electronic Arts among its cocreators. Primarily known as a platform for building mobile games, Unity is now being employed across a spectrum of industries (e.g., architecture, engineering and industrial design, education, film, health, real estate, retail and tourism) empowering the creation of immersive user experiences and enabling unique enterprise solutions.
Unity Technologies is the worldwide leader in powering 2D, 3D, virtual-reality (VR) and augmented-reality (AR) games and apps. Due to growing global demand for game and software development, Unity is expanding its reach and turning to the Philippines for its large and young population, as well as its vast creative potential. To realize this mission, Unity is partnering with ArthaLand Corp. to establish the country’s first CREATOR Center of Excellence and launch an intensive program for advanced training in Unity’s products and services.
The CREATOR Center of Excellence will professionalize the training of designers, artists, programmers and project managers to foster a world-class developer ecosystem needed to produce rich content in an easier, faster and more scalable fashion. The Center aims to elevate the quality and skills of both local and regional talent through a six-month program, which consists of Unity’s foundation-building courseware and dynamic learning modules for specialization in 2D, 3D, VR and AR production. Participants will become proficient in advanced techniques and global best practices and will be evaluated against international standards.
The Center will serve as a catalyst for the development of new intellectual property, a source of inspiration and support for the creative community of the Philippines. It will also be a platform for hardware and software companies to showcase their latest products and technology. Beyond skills development, it will give the country unparalleled access to Unity’s latest technology, software-development tools and global network of creators and educators. This will allow local professionals to better compete and collaborate on an international level and enable digital transformation for many industries.
The CREATOR Center of Excellence will operate out of the newly launched ArthaLand Century Pacific Tower which is strategically located at the corner of 5th Avenue and 30th Street in Bonifacio Global City, the heart of the new central business district.
