The one thing that unites Filipinos
The Philippines is an archipelago. Our different islands have different cultures, dialects, and histories, to the extent that some are people of their province first before they are Filipinos. It’s a beautiful thing most of the time: our country is so colorful, and it’s a great adventure to travel and experience our different islands. But this variety is sometimes a source of conflict. What makes a Filipino anyway? Why are certain areas always the center of attention, when there are so many other parts of the Philippines? Do our history books do justice to other cultures?
