ROBINSONS Appliances, which is part of the publicly-listed Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. (RRHI), recently opened its 84th branch in Festival Mall, Alabang, timely to the projected strong demand for home equipment and consumer electronic devices this Holiday season.
“It’s really a good opportunity for us to be here right at the center of Muntinlupa City. We also see the need of a very nice appliance store here in Festival [Mall],” Robinsons Appliances Marketing Manager Donna San Luis told reporters in a sideline interview.

According to her, a lot of corporate centers and exclusive villages here would want to upgrade their appliances, especially with the upcoming Christmas leading to the New Year.
“So that’s really what we’re aiming for: To provide the best technology to households and offices in this business [area]. This is really an open market for us, and we see that demand here,” she said.
Located on the upper ground floor of the mall’s east wing, this new branch offers a wide range of products, from basic home appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, coffee makers, blenders and toasters, to high-end smart televisions (TVs) and home automation systems, as well as gadgets like mobile phones, laptops, wearables and even drones.
“The demand for appliances is indeed rising, especially with the new technologies,” San Luis noted.
This year, for instance, she cited that airconditioner is their top-selling category on the back of the prolonged El Niño this year, followed by washing machine, TV and gadgets.
As Yuletide season is fast approaching, she expects the last two items to gain traction as many would want them to give or receive during this time of the year.
With shopping spree currently seen on the rise again at the start of the BER months, the newly-launched outlet has just offered a three-day sale for its opening weekend, with a Bingo bonanza and 500 Go Rewards for a minimum of P20,000 worth of purchase.
On top of discounts and other freebies already existing, the branch also has an ongoing month-long promo. As part of its campaign for the holidays, customers can watch out for the most-anticipated Race to a Minute Year Five for a chance to win appliances and gadgets.
Robinsons Appliances store in Festival Mall boasts of a modern and sophisticated design, complete with the refreshed logo.
“The overall shopping experience here is really better because it’s well-lighted, our stocks are fresh and new and, of course, our team is very well-trained,” San Luis said. “We’re in the process of refreshing all stores to look and feel like this.”
The top executive bared that they will relaunch the newly renovated Robinsons Appliances outlet in Robinsons Magnolia on September 29. This will be followed by the upgraded branch in Robinsons Galleria in October.
“The takeaway really is what you want, we try to translate it to your shopping experience at Robinsons Appliances,” she stressed.
