Workers employed by Philippine-based global business service (GBS) organizations report relatively higher satisfaction across all parameters than their Polish and Indian counterparts, according to a report by global research firm Everest Group.
For the Philippines, the top 10 GBS organizations that were included in the rankings were Henkel, SAP, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Telstra, Procter & Gamble, SunLife, Wells Fargo, American Express, Chevron and 3M.
Based on Everest’s analysis, Henkel was ranked “highly favorable” as it had perfect scores across all parameters—compensation, work environment, career development, and diversity.
The report by Everest Group noted that “the overall employer brand perception of GBS organizations in the Philippines is influenced relatively more by employee perception of factors such as work environment and career opportunities provided within a GBS organization.”
Retail and CPG (RCPG) and Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) GBS organizations in the Philippines have a relatively more positive employer brand perception driven by a higher satisfaction among employees related to compensation and career development opportunities.
Meanwhile, the report stated that professional services GBS organizations in the country have relatively lower employee satisfaction due to a strong perception of relatively poor work-life balance despite offering opportunities for accelerated career progression.
“By design, this analysis is based on publicly available information only with an intent to capture prospective employees’ perceptions about top GBS organizations. This assessment is reflective of market trends as of H1 2022. We will continue to track this market and refresh these rankings periodically,” the report read.
The Everest Group noted in its report that there is a strong emphasis on compensation, work environment, and career development among employees, and these factors have the most impact on employer brand perception.
