Major green developer Arthaland is offering businesses the Savya Financial Center, its next generation premium sustainable office building. In partnership with Japan’s Mitsubishi Estate Company Ltd., Arthaland’s Commercial Project Channel Director Ana Marco said in a recent press briefing that Savya Financial Center is now welcoming locators to the first premium green office development in highly connected ARCA South in Taguig City. Right now, Marco said 60 percent of the units in Savya are sold out.
Located at the corner of Pulse Street, Anchor Street and Tandem Road, the building is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and sustainable solutions that help create safe and more productive working environments thereby improving the profitability of companies.
In his presentation Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Philippines senior director, office leasing advisory Antonio Sabarre said moving to Savya Financial Center will bring a lot of benefits to locators such as low operating cost as it is 40 percent more energy and water efficient than conventional buildings. “It will also be powered by renewable energy to decarbonize the building’s operational energy,” Sabarre said.
Meanwhile, the building’s sustainable features such as double-glazed low-e glass, energy efficient lighting, low-flow plumbing fixtures and rainwater harvesting and recycling system are proofs of Arthaland’s commitment to sustainability.
Sabarre said employee wellness has also been given a premium in Savya Financial Center. It will have a potage garden on the rooftop where organic plants and vegetables can be grown. It will have bicycle lanes and parking for people who want to use a sustainable form of transportation going to and from their place to work. It has shower facilities and bicycle racks for bikers. There is also a bridgeway garden on the fifth floor where a tenant can take a leisurely walk among all the greenery.
He said it would also be a touchless journey for the future tenants as the faucets and doors will use sensors when they are opened by the users.
Apart from wellness and productivity benefits, research has shown that well-designed green buildings appreciate more in value and command higher rental rates.
TelTrends, a wholly Filipino-owned, ISO-certified, leading IT hardware supplier and Systems Integrator of the country’s largest telcos and utility companies is going to be one Savya’s marquee locators. Marco said the offers cutting-edge products and world-class service on a turnkey basis.
Knowing the importance of good indoor air quality in improving productivity and health of the staff, Marco said Savya Financial Center has operable windows and uses a MERV 13 air filtration system, which is the same type of system being used in hospital operating rooms.
Through its Building Management System (BMS), Savya Financial Center becomes a smart building that controls and monitors various technical systems and services such as air conditioning, lighting and ventilation to ensure safety, comfort and efficiency. In order to increase the level of protection from the threat of virus cross-infection among the building’s occupants, Sabarre said the building subscribes to contactless technologies such as the remote virtual concierge, touchless turnstiles,, hands-free bathroom fixtures and RFID-operated elevators.
Savya Financial Center has four rating standards. It has been pre-certified for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification, and on-track for thePhilippine Green Building Council’s BERDE Certification, International WELL Building Institute’s WELL Building Standard, and the International Finance Corporation’s Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE) Advanced Certification.
“We invite everyone to make the move to Savya Financial Center. Companies, big and small, can find their perfect space in this multi-certified green office building as it offers a lot of flexibility through adaptive office unit cut ups and attractive financing options. And with the health and wellness of employees becoming the top priority among employers, they will discover that every detail is designed with the well-being and productivity of businesses and individuals at its heart,” Marco said.
