Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo administers the Oath of Office of QC Councilor Don S. De Leon.
Coun. De Leon previously served 3 terms in the QC City Council and is now back to serve a fresh term. Among his priority legislation is the enactment of a Local Hiring Ordinance wherein the workforce of QC businesses will employ 30% of people from the Barangay that they are located at, given that they are evenly qualified among other prospective applicants.
Also, Coun. De Leon aims for the establishment of a QC Health Card for all residents of QC, insurance based and subject to availability of city funds. Councilor De Leon has been a long-term advocate of Youth Welfare and Development as well as priority assistance to MSMEs (Micro Small and Medium Scale Enterprises) through promotion, funding, support, and mentoring in their respective communities.
