NAPOLEON MAGNO’S Bisyo Mag Sebisyo (Determiner-Strike A Punch) was last to leave the gate but was first at the finish to rule P1.6-million Cool Summer Farm Festival main event on Sunday at the San Lazaro Leisure and Business Park in Carmona, Cavite.
Like a bolt of lightning, Bisyo Mag Sebisyo zapped the opposition one by one in the last 400 meters to snatch the gorgeous trophy and the P600,000 prize plus the added P120,000 incentive from the Philippine Racing Commission.
King Hans came home second to bag the P300,000 prize, followed by Rain Man third and Hot Rot Hearts which banked P250,000 and P200,000, respectively, for their connections.
Pharaoh’ King and Yana’s Silver rounded up the prize earners with P150,000 and P100,000, respectively.
Bisyo Mag Sebisyo clocked one minute and 38 seconds on clips of 17-24-27-29 in the 1,500 meter race.
Leaving the gate dead last, Bisyo Mag Sebisyo was seemingly out of the race while his coupled runner Yana’s Silver (Silver City-Frozen Margarita), Louise Ann Decena’s King Hans (Hook and Ladder-Golden Boots) and Felizardo Sevilla Jr.’s Sir William (Silver City-Optical Zoom) were locked in a battle up front.
By the half-mile pole, King Hans was able to shrug off the challenge and was dictating the pace as the closest pursuers were three lengths off with Bisyo Mag Serbisyo starting to claw his way up 20 lengths away.
Rain Man also made a move by climbing to fourth and within striking distance of the lead.
