Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, announces that 24 domestic destinations in its network no longer require negative RT-PCR test results for fully vaccinated passengers, further simplifying travel for everyJuan.
Destinations that accept vaccination cards for fully vaccinated travelers in lieu of RT PCR or Antigen tests include Bacolod, Bohol, Boracay, Camiguin, Cebu (Mandaue City and Cebu City), Cotabato, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Kalibo, Legazpi, Naga, Ozamiz, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
Other requirements include Vaccination certificates, Government-issued ID cards, travel permits from S-Pass, confirmed accommodations, and registration to specific contact tracing applications.
Some destinations require fully immunized travelers to simply present their certificate from VaxCertPH like Roxas, or just upload their vaccination status to S-Pass like Butuan and Cagayan de Oro.
Pagadian only requires a valid government-issued ID stating that address is within Pagadian City, regardless of vaccination status, while guests bound for Masbate are required to present the S-PaSS QR code, valid for fifteen (15) days from approval.
Lapu-Lapu City, Clark, Davao, Manila, and Tacloban do not require arriving guests to present any travel documents for entry.
“We are happy with the various LGUs’ efforts in safely reopening their borders especially for fully vaccinated individuals. Not only does it simplify the process but also reduces the overall cost of travel. We would encourage a further review and simplification of requirements and for other destinations to follow suit,” said Xander Lao, Chief Commercial Officer at Cebu Pacific.
Travelers are strongly urged to always check with the LGU (Local Government Units) of their destination for the latest updates.
CEB will provide updates on travel requirements via https://bit.ly/CEBTravelRequirements as soon as we receive them. The country’s leading airline also assures that it continues to comply with health protocols set by the government.
