Filinvest and Temasek Foundation hand over mask donation to Taguig

At the turnover are: L-RTaguig Councilor Jorge Bocobo, Singapore Ambassador to the Philippines Gerard Ho Wei Hong, Taguig Mayor Lino Cayetano and Filinvest Land Director Francis Gotianun

Temasek Foundation, the non-profit philanthropic arm of Singapore’s investment company  Temasek Holdings, together with the Filinvest Group prioritized key areas around the country where COVID-19 cases are high or rapidly increasing. Temasek Foundation also considered Philippine local government units that have fewer resources.

The 180,000 masks for Taguig City were turned-over by Filinvest group subsidiary Filinvest Land to Taguig City Mayor Lino Cayetano. Joining Mayor Lino Cayetano are Singapore Ambassador to the Philippines H.E. Gerard Ho Wei Hong and Filinvest Land Director Francis Gotianun.

“We are proud to work with Temasek Foundation for this donation to Taguig City. At this time of crisis, we are heeding the call of our partner LGUs for the benefit of our community. Filinvest is one with the nation in its fight against COVID-19. As the number of cases continues to spread across the country, we need to help the community prevent the further spread of the virus. We believe that being in the business of building the Filipino dream means that we need to come together and help our country,” said Filinvest Development Corporation President and CEO Josephine Gotianun Yap.
