The Villar family donates first batch of disinfecting apparatus to nine (9) government hospitals in Metro Manila, 200,000 face masks and daily supply of bottled drinking water to the government thru the Department of Health, to help combat the novel coronavirus.
“In response to the escalating number of Filipinos affected by COVID-19, we are doing our part to support the efforts of the government to stop the transmission of the coronavirus”, said Manny Villar. “The disinfecting apparatus will help ensure the safety of our government hospitals, the medical frontliners as well as everyone in the vicinity of the hospitals; likewise, the face masks and drinking water are much needed by the medical personnel, police officers, soldiers as well as personnel from DSWD and MMDA as they implement the enhanced community quarantine in the entire Luzon,” he added.
The first batch of disinfecting apparatus will be distributed to the government hospitals in Metro Manila, such as: RITM, San Lazaro Hospital, Lung Center of the Philippines, Santa Ana hospital, Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium, Philippine Heart Center, Quirino Memorial Medical Center, Rizal Medical Center, and Las Piñas General Hospital.
