SMARTPHONE maker realme has noted a 900-percent spike in sales growth for its newest entry-level phone introduced just recently in the Philippines, the realme 3.
Jacky Chen, the company’s COO, said his group has seen its offline sales channel grow by 900 percent this year, compared to its first offline sale last year, thanks to its aggressive stance of expanding its kiosks to more provinces nationwide.
“Our stores nationwide received overflowing interest and positive feedback from preorder customers, which results in 900 percent higher sales growth compared with our first weekend of selling alone,” he said.
This year, the smartphone brand is building a total of 100 concept kiosks nationwide as part of its offline sales channels.
“This clearly reflects that Filipinos truly discover and appreciate real value that the realme 3 can provide. To let more Filipinos discover this real value, we will strive to provide the realme 3 to more locations nationwide,” Chen added.
Packed with a MediaTek Helio P60 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage, and a 13MP front camera and a rear 13MP main camera plus 2MP secondary camera, the realme 3 was introduced on March 20.
It is an entry-level phone whose price ranges from P6,990 to P9,990.
