Environmental lawyer Antonio Oposa Jr. lauded the Duterte administration for stepping up the effort to rehabilitate Manila Bay.
According to Oposa, it is never too late to save Manila Bay as he joined more than 5,000 who took part in the Solidarity Walk along Roxas Boulevard on Sunday for the “Battle for Manila Bay” launch.
“There is no limit to what we can achieve if we do not care who gets the credit. Emperors come and go, empires rise and fall, but a story lives forever. Let the story be about all of us Filipinos—waking together, walking together and working together—for a purpose that is greater than ourselves. Let that story be heard…around the world,” Oposa said.
