After leading the quarterfinal race with a clean 3-0 win-loss record, BanKo tries to clinch the third semifinals spot when it battles back-against-the-wall BaliPure (1-2) at 4 p.m.
Pocari Sweat-Air Force (3-1), meanwhile, needs to beat ousted Tacloban (0-3) at 6:30 p.m. and pray for a loss by PetroGazz (2-1) in its 2 p.m. match with Iriga-Navy (1-3) to clinch the last semifinals seat.
In men’s play, Air Force and PLDT, which won their first two quarterfinals matches to clinch the last two semifinals seats, battle for the No. 3 seed at 10 a.m.
The winner will play No. 2 team Vice Co. in the best-of-three semifinals series, while the loser battles defending champion and league leader Cignal in the other pairing.
