BOSCH Security Systems has tapped Comsec I-Tech Corp. Philippines as its exclusive distributor for the CCS range of conference solutions in the local market, with the end goal of constantly cornering a significant share of the growing meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) industry in the country.
Effective until end of 2019, the partnership covers the sales and marketing activities of the CCS 900 and CCS 1000D Discussion Systems.
“This exclusive distribution partnership between Robert Bosch and Comsec I-Tech Corp. marks a new milestone in maintaining the market leadership of Bosch with the long-time expertise of Comsec in the field of conferencing facilities and activities,” Comsec President Victor Perez de Tagle said.
Their tie-up, he said, guarantees both parties to “capture a large market of the conference market in the Philippines”.
The MICE has been identified by the Department of Tourism as one of the main tourism products in the country’s National Tourism Development Plan.
Statistics showed the total capacity of all the dispersed facilities for this sector in Metro Manila is approximately at 50,000.
Collaborative efforts between the public and private sectors are needed to beef up the position of the Philippines as a choice MICE destination.
With this in mind, Bosch Security Systems offerings are seen helpful to provide top-notch technology solutions needed for conferences or conventions being held here.

We look forward to a successful ongoing partnership between the two companies,” he said.

Its technical sales team is trained and capable to support the local market with reliable designs and security solutions from the design up till the test and commissioning of a system.
