THE Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center (CGHMC), one of the oldest and most prestigious health-care institutions in the Philippines under the leadership of philanthropist Dr. James G. Dy, revealed its modernization initiative in a recent signing of a memorandum of agreement with Bullseye Solutions Inc. (BSI) and Samsung Electronics.
At the heart of the modernization program was the acquisition of the latest radiology equipment, such as a 512 slice CT scan machine, full room digital radiography solutions, mobile DR systems and high-end ultrasound systems. The program includes an extensive renovation of the entire radiology department, effectively placing CGHMC’s radiology department as one of the most advanced in Asia.
To mark the occasion, Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center, Samsung Electronics and Bullseye Solutions Inc. signified their partnership in a contract-signing ceremony attended by the top brass from the three organizations. The partnership comes in the midst of technology giant Samsung Electronics’s entry into the health-care space in the Philippines, through its local partner Bullseye Solutions Inc.
As a worldwide leader in technology, Samsung Electronics seeks to maximize its presence in the hospital environment by not only providing the most advanced medical equipment, but also its numerous business-to-business (B2B) products. Consequently, Samsung’s partnership with CGHMC not only includes the supply of its health-care equipment, but also its other B2B offerings, such as large-format displays, air-conditioning units, mobile devices and other range of products completing the modern CGHMC. Bullseye Solutions Inc., as Philippine distributor partner of Samsung, shall oversee the overall implementation of the modernization initiative in radiology.
The modernization program is timely, as CGHMC moves to celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2016. With this modernization program, CGHMC strengthens its commitment to excellence in providing the best health care for its generations of patients.
