TCN Inc. announced recently an exclusive reseller partnership with Japan-based ICXnet Corp. With operations in Japan, Hong Kong and Switzerland, ICXnet provides advanced information technology (IT) and telecommunications products to large international corporations worldwide, TCN said in a statement on January 10.
Under this partnership, ICXnet will promote and market TCN’s cloud-based contact center suite, Platform 3.0, to domestic and multinational companies based in Japan, TCN said.
TCN, a provider of cloud-based call-center technology for enterprises, contact centers, business-process outsourcing (BPO) firms and collection agencies, cited a research report that said the cloud-based contact center market is estimated to grow from $5.43 billion in 2016 to $15.67 billion by 2021, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 23.6 percent. The report also shows that the Asia-Pacific region is expected to grow at the highest rate during the forecast period due to growing acceptance of cloud-based solutions and other emerging technologies.
According to TCN, the partnership will not only help promote its advanced contact center solutions to major companies in the retail, IT services, BPO and collection industries in Japan, but also accelerate its market expansion to other countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
“The demand for cloud-based contact center solutions has been steadily increasing worldwide, and we have experienced a steady growth in our Asia-Pacific operations for the past four years, particularly in the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand,” TCN CEO Terrel Bird was quoted in the statement as saying.
