NO other place in Metro Manila screams suburbia than Alabang. Despite the fact this famous southern neighborhood in the city of Muntinlupa is constantly growing, it has stayed loyal and true to its beginnings—with the posh Ayala Alabang Village being the cornerstone.
The shopping centers, businesses and landmarks that are specific only to this neighborhood add value to the overall culture. An urban lifestyle that can be experienced in a suburban setting is a great advantage. People are connected to quality places that are culturally stimulating and distinctive. The façades of neighborhoods and the structures of its architecture can foster familiarity and connectedness to the surroundings. And in the case of Alabang, Crimson Hotel Filinvest City has become one of its most notable landmarks.
Perhaps you’ve spent a romantic night in a hotel for an anniversary or checked into a serviced apartment with your family because the kids are on a break or there’s a long weekend. The days in the Metro are long and the weather is hot year-round, which can cause the local residents to be in need of a vacation almost all the time. Whatever the case may be, there is a great array of choices in Metro Manila these days for a staycation. And to take the staycation experience up a notch, choosing a neighborhood that you’re not familiar with, like suburban Alabang, was truly special. Just minutes away via the Skyway, in the laid-back south of the Metro, where a balance of city living and lush green spaces can relax you in many ways is the Crimson Hotel Filinvest City, Manila refuge. Save on the airfare and splurge on a transportive experience—reclining by a roofside pool while enjoying drinks, strolling through a private park or buffet dining a few floors down from your hotel room.
Crimson Hotel Filinvest City opened its doors in late 2012. With 345 rooms, the 28-story property managed by Chroma Hospitality also has a grand ballroom, a grand lobby dubbed as “The Gallery,” because of the masterpieces it has on display—paintings from renowned Filipino artists. There is a restaurant called Café Eight (an all-day café that serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner). There are meeting rooms for guests traveling on business and there are recreational facilities (i.e., a gym, a swimming pool, and two bars—one by the pool and another in the café) for everyone checked in to enjoy.
