NETWORK solutions provider SAP has launched a career-site builder to enable companies address any talent-acquisition requirement due to the rising mobility of the jobseeker market at present.
In fact, almost two-thirds of active candidates search for employment opportunities on mobile devices, and 40 percent of them apply on such tools, according to Deloitte Consulting Llp.
“Today’s job seekers won’t tolerate painful processes,” said David Ludlow, group vice president of Solution Management at SAP SuccessFactors.
With career-site builder as part of the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting platform, he said recruiters can now be equipped with a content management system for career sites, allowing them to create mobile-friendly job portals rapidly and painlessly, and make subsequent site edits and reorganizations with ease. “We help our customers along their entire talent-acquisition journey—sourcing candidates across the globe, engaging and nurturing top candidates, and simplifying the hiring process. What I love about career-site builder is that it is a beautiful reflection of what the cloud brings—simplicity, ease of use and great user experiences,” he cited.
“We talk a lot about the burdens of over-customization. These tools prove you don’t need to go down that path to provide a personalized, branded site that will help you deliver better outcomes for the business more quickly,” he said. Availing of the SAP’s new career-site builder capabilities, human resources (HR) and recruitment professionals may gain the best-practices site components, such as dynamic layouts and preformatted elements. Live-site updates for an adaptive candidate experience will enable them to make real-time changes based on candidate needs, feedback and site interactions.
Meanwhile, they can be benefitted with the potential of reducing management and implementation costs and times. More so, they can provide improved candidate experience and usability. The intuitive design and self-service capabilities help recruiters with minimal technical background raise the level of their career sites and gain flexibility in their talent-acquisition methods.
Bertelsmann’s Corporate HR Strategy and System Senior Director Miodrag Perin welcomes the career-site builder as a much-needed enhancement to the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting solution, improving the candidate experience and building upon the mobile-apply journey at the point of first engagement.
“Thanks to ease of use and ability to configure and deploy quickly, we are able to scale faster and react in a more agile way than ever before on our rollout process,” he said.
Miodrag said having a single platform that can deliver the “Globalocal” experience by balancing the functionalities needed by local businesses with the platform demands of an enterprise organizationt is a major strength and enabler to their ra pidly expanding and changing recruiting practices at Bertelsmann and their divisions. SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting helps organizations source, engage and hire the world’s best talent by providing comprehensive job posting, marketing and management across the entire candidate lifecycle. As part of the SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite, it helps fill talent gaps for immediate hiring needs and building a talent pipeline for strategic growth.
