THE country’s leading manufacturer of foams and mattresses, Uratex, together with SM’s home retail chain Our Home, recently unveiled “The Sleep Revolution”, a new campaign for its premium mattress collection, during an exclusive launch at SM City North Edsa.
The collection includes the Premium Touch Romance, Orthocare Biorytmic, Senso Memory Ultima Plus and Perfect Serenity Aura Fresh. The mattresses, according to Uratex, will not only provide well-rested and productive waking hours, but also respond to the particular needs of particular segments of the market.
“Uratex involves the environment surrounding the mattress in their creation. It is something that we, as a brand and as a sleep expert, actually deliver,” Uratex Sales Director Dindo Medina said.
The Premium Touch Romance line is designed for couples. It has independent pocket springs that isolate body movement for undisturbed sleep and a mattress ticking infused with the essences of ginseng, ylang-ylang and cinnamon.
Using high-quality foam with an interconnecting cell structure, the Orthocare Biorytmic distributes pressure equally and evenly in the bed. Recognized by the Philippine Orthopaedic Association, the mattress will greatly benefit individuals with ortho concerns, as the foam contours to and relaxes certain portions of the body.
The Senso Memory Ultima Plus employs memory-foam technology. The main panels are made from Tencel, a special fabric that keeps the mattress cool and fresh. More than that, the memory foam is blended with Hydragel beads that absorb heat and has been proven to lower body temperature by 2 degrees Celsius.
Last, the Perfect Serenity Aura Fresh employs certain additives to counteract scent from users, such as sweat, saliva and natural body gasses. It features a convoluted high-resilient foam with an egg-crate design that allows air to flow freely.
The brand also offers pillows equipped with the same technologies to complement its mattresses.
“Uratex premium mattresses revolutionize the way we do mattresses. We focused on attributes, such as comfort, support and durability. Comfort, to conform to the body to relieve us from stress points; support, to allow us to have orthopedic posture and proper spine alignment; and, of course, durability so that we can deliver these types of service and attributes for a longer period of time,” Medina said.
During the launch, Our Home Assistant Vice President for Merchandising Roy Tan added: “This launch strengthens Our Home’s partnership with Uratex, and in the coming years, we will be continually launching different technologies, different innovations to provide the right sleep solutions for the market.”
