WHEN you’re around beauty editors/writers/bloggers long enough, the talk will inevitably lead to skin care. Not one person that I know personally has used the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II and said, “It didn’t work for me.”
Jacque de Borja of Preen.ph relies on Advanced Night Repair for her skin care. In fact, I know that she was one of those who didn’t jump into the ordinary bandwagon because Advanced Night Repair was really working for her. Believe me, if you’re around people who write about beauty, you will hear the words “Advanced Night Repair” often enough. If you have used the product, you know that there’s nothing like opening a new box of Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II and using it for the first time.
So what is it, really?
According to the Estée Lauder web site, Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II is a “powerful nighttime renewal for radiant, youthful-looking skin. Instantly adds radiance. Intensely hydrates. Advanced Night Repair dramatically reduces the look of all key signs of aging. It maximizes the power of skin’s natural nighttime renewal with our exclusive ChronoluxCB Technology. Also includes Hyaluronic Acid, nature’s ‘moisture magnet’, to help lock in moisture.”
According to tests, with regular use of Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II, “lines and wrinkles look significantly reduced. More than 75 percent of women felt their skin looked more youthful in just four weeks. Skin feels smoother, hydrated, stronger. Eighty-two percent felt their skin was immediately hydrated. Skin looks younger, radiant, more even-toned. Eighty-three percent felt their skin looked healthier, fresher, more rested in just four weeks.”
Advanced Night Repair is oil-free, dermatologist-tested, ophthalmologist-tested, non-acnegenic, won’t clog pores and fragrance-free. The formula of the serum is perfect—not too runny and not too thick.
So what does Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II address?
- Multiple signs of aging
- Visible age prevention
- Dryness, dehydration
- Lines and wrinkles
- Dullness, loss of radiance
What makes this serum unique is that it’s okay to be used for both hot and cold weather. It’s not oily and not mattifying either. It’s the only skin-care product I know and use that doesn’t require layering. You can cleanse at night and apply this and wake up to skin that’s moisturized and supple.
With a product this iconic, it’s amazing how Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II has evolved. It’s been around since the 1980s and usually, brands take their iconic products for granted. No reformulations or reformats.
Estée Lauder makes use of ChronoluxCB Technology. The belief is that skin cells purifies itself and this process of peaks at night. When this happens, skin repairs itself faster. As we age, this renewal process slows. The reformulated Advance Night Repair combines the process of purification and synchronizing of nighttime repair. Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II is so unique that it has only one half-dupe. Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Borabit Ampoule is a decent substitute but you aren’t going to wake up with glowing skin. The Missha serum will moisturize your skin decently but again, there’s only one Advanced Night Repair.
The only con of Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II is that it is pricey. But you’re getting a bottle of (what I think is) the best antiaging serum that exists, so you can save up for it. Or find room in your budget for it.
Advanced Night Repair is said to work best with the Estée Lauder Micro Essence but I have never tried that.
Disclaimer: I received a bottle of Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II from the brand last year but the next bottle (the one I’m using now) was bought with my own money.
