NEW advancements in TV technology are in store for global consumers, as one of the popular technology enterprises in the world, The Creative Life (TCL) , celebrates its 35th anniversary in the electronics industry.
This year, TCL highlights the C1 QUHD TV, a 65″ Quantum Dot Photoluminescence Technology model that offers enhanced viewing experience, an intelligent display process engine that delivers the perfect balance of color and clarity, and HDR Premium 1500 Technology that heightens contrast of images onscreen.
TCL Philippines CEO Eason Cai describes these new features as a quantum leap in picture quality. He adds that the company made use of the latest panel display systems to provide high-definition photos and videos with almost real-life imaging clarity.
It reads in the product specification that the C1 QUHD audio features are no less impressive—with Dolby Digital system, Smart Volume features that intelligently control audio levels and allow automatic volume adjustment, plus a built-in subwoofer designed for low-pitched frequencies, all in all providing cinema-like experience.
Its ultra-slim dimensions and X-shaped stand give it a distinct identity, and its powerful hardware gives it a thumbs-up for performance.
TCL’s QUHD line also boasts of being a “complete entertainment package.” Its GoLive Application collects compelling live content from TV stations around the world, all in high definition. It also offers viewers access to a vast array of online content, from YouTube to Netflix, so owners can watch their favorite online series and videos on their TCL TV.
Already, the model is garnering good reviews in online tech sites, with GoodGearGuide (www.goodgearguide.au) describing it as a product which is “half the price of competitors yet can rival them for quality.”
Gizmodo (www.gizmodo.com.au), on the other hand, writes that, while it’s dramatically cheaper “than equivalent-size displays from Samsung, Sony and LG,” the product “does a reasonably good job for the price you’re paying for it.”
“TCL has always been focused on innovation. For 35 years, the company has invested in research and development to create better TVs that will give us a better
viewing experience. We’re excited to share that here in the Philippines, people are already starting to recognize that TLC gives them superior picture quality and an immersive experience at an affordable price,” TCL Philippines Brand Marketing Manager Amor Joaquin-Golifardo says.
Currently, TCL ranks third in the world in terms of TV production, making it the No. 1 TV exporter in China, and is the fifth-largest provider of LCD TV panels in the world. In the Philippines it was able to capture 12.1-percent market share as of July 2016, while Samsung is No. 1, followed by LG at No. 2.
