RUDY PROJECT launched its new flagship store—the World’s First Rudy Project Experiential Store—at the second floor of the Uptown Place in Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City.
Customers could experience the future of performance eyewear in the Experiential Store, which has interactive galleries and challenging activities—all designed to simulate different playing fields where customers can use a wide range of technically cool Rudy Project gear.
It’s the first store of its kind in the world—a testament to Rudy Project’s technological prowess.
Drawn in by the store’s eyewear-shaped facade, customers are greeted by the 184-square meter outlet’s interactive facilities.
These include a cycling area, a putting green and various virtual reality consoles that offer a peek into the future of sports eyewear.
To demonstrate the brand’s confidence in its technology, there is also a standing challenge to break Rudy Project’s most advanced unbreakable IMPACTX2 lens, with prizes waiting for whoever manages to complete the challenge.
“Elite-level competition allows zero tolerance for mistakes. That’s why Rudy Project products aren’t just for protection. Each eyewear is designed to give a performance edge, whether it’s for keeping cyclists aerodynamic, or helping golfers discern between individual blades of grass,” said Jerry Tee, CEO of 88 Prestige Brands Inc., the exclusive distributor of Rudy Project in the Philippines.
The brand has continuously been developing industry-firsts for over 30 years, allowing the design of sport-specific eyewear for golf, sailing, cycling, motocross, and shooting.
Off-season, athletes can still enjoy a wide range of technically cool eyewear in the Rudy Project’s more laid-back “lifestyle” collection. The brand also offers prescription eyewear, helmets, goggles and other sport accessories of the highest technical quality.
The Rudy Project experiential store is located at the 2nd floor of the Uptown Place Mall in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.
