CONCENTRIX, one of the leading business-process outsourcing (BPO) locators in the Philippines, has added another feather on its cap after winning an Award for Excellence in Culture Creation at the Golden Globe Tigers Award during a ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This international business leadership accolade is proof of the company’s unique corporate culture based on its three Vs of operating philosophy—visibility, velocity and value—and its nine defining culture statements.
Concentrix President Chris Caldwell said the company is honored for this recognition, since its growth is mainly due to their people and culture.

The BPO provider was acknowledged for engaging management in building a culture of excellence within the organization via training programs. Pivotal to this was the creation of a 27-page culture playbook, a training guide that includes exercises and activities for employees. Concentrix Philippines Country Leader David Brooks said their culture is always a crucial component of their company’s DNA.
“We were able to identify the most successful elements of our culture and articulate them,” he said.
Concentrix is a global high-value business services company. Currently in the Philippines, it is located in four sites in Metro Manila and in provincial areas, such as Bicol, Cagayan de Oro, Davao and Laguna.
The BPO firm is expanding its presence in the Visayas region through its upcoming facility in Cebu. It is the fourth outsourcing-service provider to open shop in Megaworld’s Mactown Newtown Township project that boasts of its own beachfront.
Occupying about 2,600 square meters of space on the second floor of Tower 3 of 8 Newtown Boulevard, this office is set to begin operations by the second half of this year. Initially, it will have 450 to 500 seat jobs by end of the year.
The Golden Globe Tigers Awards recognizes businesses across the Asia-Pacific region for their efforts in marketing, branding, corporate social responsibility, social innovation and education. It encompasses various industries, such as business-process services, hotels and hospitality, retail, education, petroleum and energy.
In addition to this, Concentrix has won several other awards recently, including a Gold Stevie Award for Innovation in Customer Service, a Silver Stevie Award of Customer Service Team of the Year and a Bronze Stevie Award for Outsourcing Provider of the Year.
