COLD-PRESS juice manufacturer Pure Nectar has been added into PayMaya’s list of vendors that accept QR payments.
With the partnership, customers buying cold-press juices and fruit shakes from Pure Nectar branches may now pay for their purchases using PayMaya’s QR mobile payments system.
Likewise, customers who pay using PayMaya QR for the whole month of June at participating Pure Nectar branches can get a free upgrade from medium to large on their order of mixed-flavored shakes.
“Our customers love the on-the-go convenience that Pure Nectar offers, which is why it’s a perfect match that we now offer PayMaya QR payments at some of our stores,” Fruit Magic Co. Inc. Director of Sales and Marketing Arielle Escalona said.
Customers only need to scan the QR code displayed at select Pure Nectar branches in Metro Manila using their PayMaya app to make quick and easy payments for juices and shakes on the go.
No stranger to innovation, Fruit Magic launched Pure Nectar as a new brand in 2014 to keep up with the changing times, particularly in consumer preference for healthy food and beverages.
“We’re so glad that brands like Pure Nectar are joining the ‘cashless’ revolution, along with so many other brands and companies now accepting PayMaya QR as a payment method. With PayMaya, there’s no more need to bring cash when you buy from Pure Nectar outlets, bringing total convenience for those who are always on the go,” PayMaya Vice President Raymund Villanueva said.
PayMaya is the digital financial services arm of PLDT Inc. Its main competitor is Globe Fintech Innovations Inc. which operates GCash.
PayMaya QR has already been deployed in some of the country’s biggest brands such as The SM Store, Robinsons Department Store, Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Appliances, and other Robinsons Retail Holdings brands, including brands under Robinsons Store Specialists Inc., such as Topman, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Burton Menswear, Miss Selfridge, Warehouse and G2000. It is also available in Ministop, Southstar Drug, and The Generics Pharmacy, Mercury Drug, Fully Booked and Surplus Shop, among many others.
