DUE to the temporary closure of the Cebu-Mactan International Airport runway for repair and rehabilitation, Philippine Airlines (PAL) will either delay or cancel several flights from September 1 to 21.
The five-hour daily closure is from 1:30 to 6:30 a.m.
“All other flights outside this window period shall remain operational,” PAL said in a statement.
The following PAL flights are canceled: PR2682/PR2683 (September 1-21/Cebu-Busuanga-Cebu); PR2295/PR2296 (September 1-21/Cebu-Cagayan de Oro-Cebu); PR2867 (August 31/Manila-Cebu); PR1836 (September 1-21/Cebu-Manila)
PAL flights retimed:
- PR2380 (September 1-21/Cebu-Iloilo)
- PR2381 (September 1-21/Iloilo-Cebu)
- PR2285 (September 1-21/Cebu-Bacolod)
- PR2286 (September 1-21/Bacolod-Cebu)
- PR2236 (September 1-21/Cebu-Tacloban)
- PR2237 (September 1-21/Tacloban-Cebu)
- PR1841 (September 1-21/Manila-Cebu)
The airline said passengers of canceled flights have been notified via e-mail (trip notification) and/or call-out.
Passengers who booked through travel agents are advised to check with them their new flight schedules.
“We are seeking the understanding of our passengers as we make the necessary adjustments on our flight schedules to give way for the much-needed runway repair work. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these schedule changes,” the carrier said.
