THE Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and Korea Institute of Sports Science (KISS) kicked off on Friday the fourth installment of the Sports Science Lecture Series at the PhilSports Complex in Pasig City.
At least 70 coaches, sports practitioners and teachers have signed up for the lectures to be conducted by specialists from the KISS—Dr. Hyunjoo Cho, who will talk about Sports Policy: Global Coaching Leadership, and Dr.
Hongsun Song, who will discuss Sport Talent under Exercise Psychology.
Dr. Jeheon Moon will lecture on Change and Future of Biomechanics in the afternoon, followed by a lecture on the practical applications of sports medicine by Dr. Eonho Kim.
Unesco-Kiss Chairman and Program Manager Dr. Hyunjoo Jung will also grace the activity.
PSC Chairman William Ramirez said the partnership “has benefited a number of coaches, athletes, administrators and teachers” for two years.
“This partnership is a milestone considering the impact it has with the participants who have re-echoed what they learned to their own students, communities and athletes,” Ramirez said.
The PSC’s Philippine Sports Institute, through National Training Director Marc Velasco, supervises the conduct of the seminar.
