MORE than just the famous Kapeng Barako and the famed Filipino weapon balisong, what Batangueños can be proud of today is their newly opened Nissan Batangas dealership.
Located at Sitio 6 Diversion Road, Barangay Balagtas, Batangas City, the said dealership under Tetra Sales and Services, an enterprise handled by Lica Auto Group, is the 10th of such managed by the illustrious company.
No less than Nissan Philippines Inc. (NPI) Managing Director Ramesh Narasimhan, Lica Auto Group Chairman Felix Limcaoco and their Chief Operating Officer Doroteo Sornet, together with Congressman Mario Vittorio Mariño, company executives and government officials graced the opening ceremonies.
“Welcome. We at Team Nissan are proud to present another state-of-the-art dealership for customers and friends. It is truly a beautiful dealership. It’s getting bigger and better,” the proud visionary Limcaoco said during this speech.
“High tech initiatives give it a seamless and pleasant car-buying experience to all of our customers,” he added as the luminous head honcho talks about the carmaker’s latest global dealership blueprint, the Nissan Retail Environment Design Initiative.
This latest visual identity was first seen at Nissan Atlanta as this cutting-edge program is characterized by an overall ambiance that exudes transparency and openness wherein it features exclusive delivery areas, a large glassed-view service section, customer lounge setup as part of the showroom along with digital elements, such as service and sales screens, configurator screen tablets and digital wheel stands.
“Here in the Philippines, we are one of the pioneers of this revolutionary design,” he enthused.
Narasimhan, for his part, agreed with what Limcaoco said, further explaining that their focus this time more importantly are on the satisfaction of their customers. This, after an exceptionally strong performance last year with a 48-percent increase in sales compared to the previous year with about 25,000 units sold. The Nissan top dog mentioned that for 2018 they’re centered in sustaining growth through making their customers happy.
“At the end of the day, that’s what we’re here for. These showrooms are part of the experience of buying a new car,” he spurred.
“We want to make the whole ownership experience a more enjoyable one. This kind of convenience is what Nissan is all about.”
The 3,000 square-meter facility has the capacity to accommodate 10 Nissan vehicles in the showroom and 10 work bays to give customers faster service, which, as mentioned, aims to enhance customer experience through premium comfort and innovative services. It aspires to cater to the people within the vicinity, particularly the Calabarzon area.
Business as usual, ala eh!
An elated Mariño, for one, is excited about this investment in their region as they are currently busy with various infrastructure projects.
“When we build roads, obviously people will need cars and, hopefully, they will go to Nissan,” he quipped.
Batangas City, in particular, had revenue collections up with P2 billion last year, a P142-million growth compared to 2016.
“The benefits will definitely outway the risks,” meanwhile shared Limcaoco, who also expressed his concern as a new player in the area wherein their business expansion involves a number of uncertainties.
Overall, they’re ever optimistic that this new dealership seated along a sprawling automotive strip, which leads to one of the busiest ports in the country today, will thrive in delivering that ever delightful customer experience.
