On September 20, Manila House, BGC became Paris for a night as French luxury brand La CornuFè unveiled their brand-new kitchen masterpiece named CornuFé. Attended by guests from the French community, as well as members of local media, the Bastille Day-themed launch, called “Vive La CornuFè” brought together French art, food, music and culture, the key elements that perfectly represent the brand, as well as its country of origin.
Inside Manila House’s halls, guests experienced French service like no other. From sumptuous food offerings to sweet French music, the event was truly magnifique. Completing the French experience, Maitre Cuisinier de France (Master Chef of France) and Resorts World Manila Director of Culinary Arts Food and Beverage Chef Cyrille Soenen shares his experience as a French chef here in the country and his experience using La CornuFè.
Set against a backdrop of florals and deep reds, the CornuFè is the true star of the kitchen. “I say it’s eye candy because you see colors; you see classic design, which is very surprising. It’s something refreshing even if it looks old school. It’s something that we never had in the market, and that’s what we want to show the end users, the architect partners and designers. That’s why we wanted to bring in extra to provide something more than what we usually see in the market,” local brand manager Archie Nacpil proudly shares.
The CornuFè’s beautiful range of colors—black, ivory, blue, red and stainless steel—is a sight demanding to be seen. Combine that with its nickel or shiny brass finish and you’ll get a cooker fit for a royal. On top of that, innovations have been made: the doors open laterally, which makes handling easier; snail oven handles to assist grip, and a large storage drawer at the bottom of the kitchen range, where you can store dishes, trays and cooking accessories.
Under the CornuFè line are two cookers; CornuFè 110 and Albertine. Both have five professional burners, including a large 4 kilowatt central burner, which can also be used as a hot plate. The two also come with two conventional electric ovens, the use of which you will immediately master without needing to change your cooking habits.
“Technically, La CornuFè is what they call the ‘French Chef Kitchen’, or the ‘French Chef Cooker’, ‘the functionality is based on the principle on how French chefs cook, so it’s on par with the restaurant or hotel level cooking specifications that was designed for household,” Nacpil explains.
Combining tradition and technological innovation, CornuFè showcases the brand’s unrivaled expertise and elegant design. From the aesthetic to the functionality, this tour de force will surely revolutionize every Filipino’s kitchen.
“They’ve been doing this for more than a hundred years, so the expertise is there,” Nacpil assures.
Now on it’s 110th year, La CornuFè has been known for manufacturing exceptional kitchen masterpieces. Specializing in custom-made kitchen appliances, La CornuFè believes in craftsmanship, creating cookers as per ordered and assembled by one craftsman. La CornuFè’s appliances are truly unique and masterpieces set to bring appreciation and satisfaction to its owner.
