KALIBO, Aklan—The newly inducted provincial chairman of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) is seeking the help of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to solve the robbery accident that recently transpired at his own house.
Apol Zaraspe III, CEO of Energy FM-Kalibo, said aside from the NBI, he is coordinating with the Aklan Provincial Police Office to help solve the crime.
The incident happened on November 28. Stolen from the victim was his .45-caliber revolver service firearm, a Rolex watch, some dollars and pesos and two
cell phones.
Although the entrance of the suspect was taken by a closed-circuit television camera, it was blurry. Police officials charged a carpenter of Zaraspe as suspect, but police failed to recover the stolen items.
The carpenter repeatedly denied his involvement on the incident.
“I hope the NBI could investigate the said incident deeper,” Zaraspe said.
Zaraspe was elected on December 9 as the new chairman of the KBP-Aklan for the year 2018.
