THE Italian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines Inc. (ICCPI) ended 2017 with a bang courtesy of L’Aperitivo Italiano: “Festa di Natale” held on December 14 at the Bonifacio Global City.
The L’Aperitivo series started three years ago and is known as one of the more highly anticipated events in the business and expat community as it has managed to infuse Italian culture (read: food, wine and conversations) into the series. More than just a networking night, it has become a truly social one.
ICCPI Executive Director Lorens Ziller said, “We are truly proud to get our guests and participants to experience the true essence of la dolce vita we Italians are so proud of. This is more than socializing and meeting friends—a true taste of Italy and everyone can feel the difference as [it appeals to] all senses.”
Among the VIP guests that evening were former Ambassador to Spain and Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands Vice President Ana Ines de Sequera-Ugarte, Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands President Jose Yulo Jr. and Etihad Airways Country Manager Juan Torres.
Guests enjoyed more than 25 Italian delicacies paired with red and white wines. Exciting raffle prizes were also given away.
L’Aperitivo Italiano is organized by the ICCPI with the support of the Italian Embassy Manila, Dante Alighieri Manila and various sponsors.
Until the next L’Aperitivo Italiano in 2018…Ciao! And cheers to a festive New Year!
