AS part of its thrust to provide modern and advance facilities conducive to learning, iACADEMY officially opened its second campus called “iACADEMY Nexus.”
Located along 7434 Yakal Street, Barangay San Antonio, Makati City, the new building will serve as the new home for senior highschool students and some college students taking courses, such as animation, multimedia arts and design, software development and game development.
“This is an important milestone for us as a school, as well as a community,” said Vanessa Tanco, president and CEO of iACADEMY.
“With this new campus, we will be able to provide our students with even more space and facilities that will allow them to reach their full potential and unleash their inner ‘game changer,’” she added.
The top executive led the unveiling ceremony held on February 12.
School faculty, students, employees, board members and other guests witnessed the blessing and unveiling of the name of the building.
Spanning over 28,000 square meters, the 14-story building offers cutting-edge facilities, such as a multipurpose hall that can accommodate up to 900 persons, a mini theater that can seat 250 people, and an indoor running track above a basketball court.
It will have a floor dedicated to computer laboratories, with Wacom drawing tablets and Cintiq computers available for aspiring artists and animators.
Budding fashion designers can create their garments in the impressive fashion design and sewing rooms.
Young photographers and filmmakers will enjoy the green and sound rooms for their different production needs.
Everyone can be accommodated to the spacious cafeteria and student lounge, either during breaks or school events. Both areas will share an entire floor.
A more quiet place to study is the library sitting on the sixth floor. The meditation room on the eighth floor would be ideal for reflection.
iACADEMY students, referred to as game changers, can also look forward to the updated facilities in the Buendia campus, which will undergo renovations this summer.
