Resorts World Manila (RWM), the Philippines’s first integrated entertainment and tourism resort, has created the most diverse hotel portfolio in the industry, providing the widest range of choices to every kind of traveler and remaining true to its goal of thrilling the world.
Guests are spoilt for choice among over 2,600 elegantly appointed rooms and suites that are spread across six hotels within the RWM area, including three hotels that cater to practical business and leisure travelers.
“The vast array of [our options] assures…top-quality accommodation options for every preference, need and budget,” said Kathy Mercado, RWM senior director for sales and marketing. “Our corporate clients, in particular, appreciate that they are guaranteed [with] world-class service and signature Filipino hospitality in every hotel, every time.”
International hotel chain Holiday Inn Express opens its first Philippine property dubbed the Holiday Inn Express (HIEx) Manila Newport City, which is a firm favorite among smart global travelers; and takes over RWM original brand Remington Hotel.
With 737 rooms, the HIEx Manila is the largest property of the InterContinental Hotels Group in Southeast Asia. Providing value-for-money accommodations with world-class standards for the budget-conscious traveler, the HIEx Manila rooms are equipped with IHG’s signature sleep solution, which features blackout curtains, comfortable bedding, and a choice of firm or soft pillows.
Amenities have been carefully selected to meet the practical traveler’s needs, such as en suite bathroom with hot and cold power shower, universal power sockets, in-room safe, flat-screen television, seating area, refrigerator, hair dryer and more. Hotel facilities are geared for convenience, such as a gym, meeting room and coin-operated laundry. 24-hour dining is available through the lobby café where guests also get to enjoy a leisurely breakfast buffet or a grab-and-go packed breakfast.
The Belmont Hotel Manila, owned by local property developer Megaworld Corp., has become the preferred accommodation among business travelers. The 470-room hotel, which was recently named the Best Airport Hotel in the Philippines by the Travel and Hospitality Awards, offers optimum city views from its rooftop pool and bar.
Café Belmont, the hotel’s all-day dining outlet, serves up classic international cuisine, along with authentic Filipino specialties.
Work essentials are also available, with the Belmont Hotel business center, meeting rooms and a function room that can accommodate a 100-person conference. The hotel also provides comprehensive services, such as taxi and limousine arrangements, VIP airport assistance, laundry, valet and shoe shine, and even babysitting.
The newest addition to RWM’s lineup of practical accommodations is Savoy Hotel Manila, a 684-room Megaworld Corp. development. Its proximity to one of the country’s main international terminal, combined with creature comforts, such as swimming pool, function rooms, and fitness center, make it the ideal hotel for business travelers who appreciate efficiency and comfort.
Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, poolside bar and cocktail lounge, as well as Squares, a common lounge area with spaces for guests to work, relax or mingle. They can also avail themselves of the free airport shuttle service and complimentary van service within Newport City.
For the luxury segment, gaming guests and VIPs would feel right at home at the all-suite Maxims Hotel, under the Genting Group; while seasoned business and leisure travelers can enjoy the global 5-star standards of Marriott Hotel Manila, Hilton Manila, and the soon-to-open Sheraton Manila Hotel and Hotel Okura Manila.
“We have a dedicated sales team that caters to corporate clients and makes sure we provide them with the best package and hotel to meet their needs,” Mercado added. “Our hotels and the facilities of RWM complement each other by providing unique offerings that any guest may want to experience.”
Just across Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3, one of the country’s busiest travel hubs, RWM provides unbeatable comfort and convenience for guests. Runway Manila, a fully air-conditioned, elevated pedestrian link bridge directly connects Naia T3 with Newport City and RWM, which gives travelers a safe and environmentally sound way.
Guests can also enjoy a wide range of entertainment, dining and shopping options offered by RWM. In addition to around 50 dining outlets, and dozens of global and homegrown retail brands, RWM is also home to the multi-award winning Newport Performing Arts Theater, which is the stage for world-class concerts and performances.
