FASHION and beauty are always in synergy. When one talks about the runway, clothes and hair and makeup come to mind. You cannot imagine a makeup-less model walking down the ramp, unless the look is deliberate.
When it comes to fast fashion, H&M is at the forefront of it all, from edgy collaborations to its attempts to raise awareness for recycling and reusing clothing. Good news for fashion and beauty lovers.
The full-beauty collection of H&M Beauty is finally in the Philippines at the H&M flagship store in the Mega Fashion Hall of SM Megamall.
“We’re excited to finally bring this concept to our Filipino shoppers. At H&M, we’re proud to offer fashion and quality at the best price, in a sustainable way. This includes fashion for all with our ladies, kids, men’s, as well as the sportswear and lingerie departments; fashion for your home with H&M Home; and now fashion for your face and body with H&M Beauty. This is a complete range with everything in it to create any look imaginable with colors and textures for a classic, natural or high-fashion aesthetic while maintaining affordability—H&M Beauty is for all,” said Fredrik Famm, country manager of H&M Southeast Asia.
The collection, which includes makeup, beauty tools, hair-care products, bath and body essentials, and even nail polish, is geared toward those who want products that are of good quality, on trend and inexpensive.
For example, the lipsticks are at P599 each and for that amount, you get a beautifully packaged lip color in a box. There are different colors and textures.
The Infinite Impact Eye Color includes soft mattes to rich shimmers to bold metallics for many possibilities. The cheek products are also must-tries. The Pure Radiance Blusher Powder has a sheer formula that offers buildable coverage.
The Solar Flair Bronzing Powder can be used to sculpt and shade, add a subtle glow and definition or deepen your complexion.
At H&M Beauty, expect hundreds of choices for eyes, lips and nails, as well as curated palettes of colors and textures that work together.
All skin tones are catered to with a full range of base and concealer shades. The line is not just about makeup—there are fragrances, body care and hair-styling products to explore, plus a complete selection of makeup brushes and beauty tools. There are beautifully designed makeup and toiletry bags, and a full range of hair brushes.
Two subsidiary collections are also available. There is a premium body-care line and a “Conscious” range of Ecocert-approved sustainable products. The Ecocert line has products ranging from dry shampoo and tinted lip balm to aluminium-free deodorant. All products are made with certified organic ingredients, and are in minimalist recyclable packaging.
H&M Beauty’s launch in the Philippines coincides with H&M’s Autumn season, which highlights glowing skin, strong jewel colors, statement lip colors and ultra-glossy bold nails as key trends.
“We’re excited that we can provide the colors, textures and tools that allow people to be be as creative as possible with makeup. Jewelled shades, such as sapphire blue and amethyst lilac, are having a moment. Neutral tones can make a statement, too. Grey is a big color this autumn, as well as the browns and nudes we love,” said Sara Wallander, concept designer at H&M Beauty.
Ultra-glossy bold nails and subtle nail art are big beauty trends for the season. H&M Beauty has new high-shine Gel Studio colors. There are also Oil Fusion nail colors infused with avocado oil and lemon extract to condition and brighten your nails.
The H&M Beauty cosmetics range will also be available within the month in H&M stores in Robinsons Place Manila, SM City North Edsa, Festival Mall, Ayala Center Cebu, SM Mall of Asia and Greenbelt 4.
