THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) will be starting this month the bidding process for its P78-million contract for the acquisition of secure digital (SD) cards it will use for the 2019 polls.
The poll body said it will, conduct a pre-bidding event at 10 a.m. on November 5 at the Basement Conference Room of the Palacio del Gobernador Building in Intramuros, Manila.
The opening bid for the contract will be on November 19 at the same venue and time of the pre-bid.
To participate in the opening bid, the Comelec said interested parties must first get the complete set of bidding documents and then submit their official bid to the poll body on or before 9 a.m. of November 19.
The bidding documents could be purchased for P50,000 at the Comelec Special Bids and Awards Committee Secretariat or downloaded at the web sites of Comelec or the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System.
