Chery is back!

THE Chery Automobile Co. LTD and United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI) have officially entered into a distributorship agreement on October 15 in Wuhu, China. The accord was signed by Zhang Guibing, president of Chery International, and Rommel Sytin, president of UAAGI, which is also the distributor of Foton, another China-made brand, in the Philippines.

IT was Valentine’s week and that meant a trip out of town. This time, my husband and I went to Baguio for our anniversary where the weather was 9◦C.The mountain roads were challenging because of the blind curves, steep hills, zigzags, unpredictable weather conditions and possibility of falling rocks. We passed through Kennon Road, which was undergoing repairs due to recent landslides. It only took us three and a half hours to get to Baguio via the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEx).

Going electric in style while helping the environment

LAST New Year’s Eve, our family was at the Okada Manila where we celebrated the Countdown to 2019 and watched the fireworks. While waiting for our vehicle outside the hotel, we saw that the air was full of smoke due to the fireworks. I had to tell my family to cover their noses and try not to breathe in the polluted air. I also overheard people talking about how harmful the smoke emitted by fireworks was and that it could pose a health risk particularly to people who suffer from asthma and other pulmonary issues.

Falken Philippines launches 3 new global tires
