One of the country’s biggest educational institutions, STI, recently held its long-running talent competition at Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, bringing together over 20,000 of its senior high school and college students across all its campuses nationwide.
The STI Talent Search is one of the academic institution’s initiatives aligned with its thrust to produce well-balanced and highly talented graduates, alongside other specialized extra-curricular programs that allow students to hone and exhibit their talents both within and beyond their respective courses.
The competition begins in the local level, with top participants elevated into the cluster level and culminating with a grand national finale.
The talent search features STI’s finest student musicians, dancers, heartthrobs and darlings to compete in activities such as Singing Idol, Battle of the Bands, Hataw Sayaw, and Mr. & Ms. STI.
The school also holds separate team quiz bees and competitions in mobile app development, impromptu speech, essay writing, flair bartending, cooking, cake decoration, photography and video production.
From its humble beginnings as a computer training center with only two campuses, STI is now a holistic educational institution that provides diverse programs in Information Technology, Business and Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Arts & Sciences, Engineering, and Senior High School, in 77 campuses nationwide.
