THE Bay Area in Pasay City is fast becoming the next prime office location for local and international businesses and will soon be home to Aspire Corporate Plaza, a 10-story office-space building venture of Golden Bay Properties, which is the group behind the successful culinary place Golden Bay Fresh Seafood Restaurant along Macapagal Avenue within the Bay Area in Pasay City.
Aspire Corporate Plaza will just be behind the seafood restaurant on a total lot area of 3,500 square meter.
Now on its ninth year of operations, Golden Bay Properties has enjoyed much success with the seafood restaurant, receiving rave reviews from its loyal clientele and walk-in customers, including those who choose the sprawling two-story venue for their special events. The property was purchased 10 years ago with a vision of developing the area for the Chinese business community looking for an authentic and fresh seafood Lauriat place.
“It is our desire to offer our fellow Filipino-Chinese businessmen, especially in the Binondo area, the opportunity to own their space rather than just leasing it,” said Jardin Brian B. Wong, COO of Golden Bay Properties. “After our recent groundbreaking rites, we also realized that there are many other entrepreneurs, not just Filipino-Chinese, who are also looking for office spaces that they can call their own,” added Wong, the brains behind Aspire Corporate Plaza.
The pride of ownership is something that Aspire Corporate Plaza will be offering—a good investment as the property is in the Bay Area, where it is not congested, and is being built by a world-class construction team with architects who will execute an innovative office-building design. Wong, whose family has developed various businesses for the past 20 years, believes office-space ownership is the wiser move.
“The Bay Area is now the new central business district as office spaces are fast running out in the Makati, Ortigas and Bonifacio Global City areas. The location is modern and teeming with energy. It is perfect, especially for businesses in the Binondo area that are looking into moving to a prime location,” Wong said.
The Bay Area offers a lot of advantages, including more modern infrastructure like wider roads and mid-rise buildings that give a fresher perspective of doing business. It is the central business district nearest to the country’s three international airports, and is easily accessible via the Skyway, which, in two years’ time, will be connecting both the north and the south to these airport terminals.
“Major companies have expanded their businesses to include offices in the area. The Bay Area is replete with modern facilities like concert and event venues, a convention center, one of the country’s biggest malls and Asia’s newest entertainment complex. It is home to the headquarters of big corporations like Double Dragon, the SM Group and multinational BPOs [business-process outsourcing].
“Our newest venture, the Aspire Corporate Plaza, would like to offer all these to businessmen who want to expand in a modern-day and fresher environment,” Wong added.
Aspire Corporate Plaza is set to be completed in two years, and will be selling its office spaces, instead of leasing them out.
Aspire is being built by a world-class architecture, engineering and construction team, led by Asya Design Partner, Megawide Construction Corp., Sta. Elena Construction and Development Corp., D.A. Abcede and Associates, Meinhardt Philippines Inc., Ken Engineering Services and Spectrum Properties. The project is expected for completion by 2020.
