SEVEN senior police officials will assume their new positions on Monday in a top-level reorganization in the Philippine National Police (PNP).
PNP Spokesman Chief Supt. Dionardo B. Carlos said the reorganization and designation to new posts of key officials was recommended by the Senior Officers’ Placement and Promotion Board, and was approved by PNP chief Director General Ronald M. dela Rosa.
Those scheduled to assume their new positions on Monday were Chief Supt. Cedric Train as acting director for Integrated Police Operations in Western Mindanao (Dipo-WM); Chief Supt. Marcelo Morales, regional director, Police Regional Office 12 (Soccsksargen); Chief Supt. Rodelio Jocson, director, Maritime Group; and Chief Supt. Renato Angara, director, Information Technology Management Service.
Also occupying their new posts were Chief Supt. Joseph Adnol, director, Philippine National Police Academy; Senior Supt. Petronillo Baldebrin, deputy regional director for administration, Police Regional Office 2 (Cagayan Valley); and Senior Supt. Albert Ignatius Ferro, acting director, PNP-Drug Enforcement Group.
Carlos said PNP Officer in Charge Deputy Director General Ramon C. Apolinario will preside during the turnover of command in a simple ceremony scheduled on Monday at the PNP Main Conference Room.
He also added the reorganization was prompted by the impending retirement of Director Manuel B. Felix, erstwhile director for integrated police operations in Western Mindanao, or the Dipo-WM.
