To commemorate its seven-year presence in the community, Aguila Glass reintroduced its 25th store in Luzon, which is located along Doña Remedios Trinidad (DRT) Highway, Barangay Pinagbarilan, Baliuag, Bulacan.
Like in its any other stores, the more than 300-sq-m hub is served to accommodate various vehicles from cars all the way to trucks.
Aside from its usual executives attending their event, Baliuag Mayor Ferdinand Estrella, Department of Trade and Industries (DTI) Bulacan Consumer Protection Division Chief Jack Pulido and Pinagbarilan Barangay Captain Danny Bugay graced the ceremony.
The occasion more than just added another feather in their caps—but rather etched the company’s ever-invigorating presence in its local communities.
As the country’s undisputed glass leader, the said conglomerate which runs under the corporate business name Universal Glass Co. Inc., is ever adamant.
“Aguila Glass has been present in Baliuag since 2011 and our new slogan: ‘Blazing the Trails’ has a very special meaning to us,” said the company’s president Pia Mirasol.
“Since Aguila Glass has been launched in 1952, we have blazed the trail. From a mom and pop store in Avenida Rizal, we have grown to 25 stores in Luzon with 30 distribution stores nationwide. What does it mean to blaze the trail? It means to take the road less traveled—carving out the path and setting the example. Here, we do not compromise. We stand by our core values of honesty, integrity, harmony and excellence.”
According to her, the hard work and dedication of their team have made them reach their goals and that for 66 years, their brand has been the most trusted.
“Customer loyalty is a testament of our expertise and concern for their safety,” Mirasol added.
A testament of quality and service
EVEN Baliuag Mayor Ferdinand Estrella can attest to the company’s service and reliability.
“Noong bata pa po ako, nu’ng nasira ’yung windshield ng kotse namin, pinagawa ko po ito sa Aguila Glass at noon pa lamang tiwala na talaga ko dito,” he enthused.
DTI representative Jack Pulido, meanwhile, further confirms this.
“They are very compliant,” he said.
With this, the group carries the Philippine Standard Mark of Quality and the Import Commodity Clearance certification.
“Like any other product, it must have quality as they affect the lives and safety of the general public,” Pulido added.
Friendly neighborhood glass store
THE brand aspires to be present in every neighborhood in the Philippines.
For now, their focus is in the Bulacan area with the recent Baliuag branch reopening.
They have claimed to cater to over 5,000 vehicles ranging from cars, jeeps trucks and even trailer heads. And they even yearn to do more.
“Our passion and dedication have taken us this far,” Mirasol averred.
“The team looks forward to serving the glass needs in the Baliuag community and all other communities nearby.”
