Tanduay Distillers, Inc., unveiled Julia Barretto as its calendar girl for 2024.
With the company approaching its 170th anniversary, they sought a figure embodying strength, confidence, and hard work.
“It’s an honor to have been chosen to represent the brand for 2024,” Actress Julia Barretto said during the Tanduay Calendar 2024 launching at Elements in ETON Centris.
She mentioned that it took approximately two months to finalize this year’s calendar, and Julia emphasized the significance of a collaborative process, a lesson she gained from the creative team.
“My input was important to them and my team’s creative input as well,” she highlighted how important it was to involve the team, “they really valued our thoughts, our opinions,”
Julia, known for her resilience in the entertainment industry, shared her insights into the demanding preparation for the bold photoshoot.
Despite juggling professional commitments and personal errands, she stressed the significance of staying active and prepared at all times.
Her philosophy, “You don’t get ready when you have something to be ready for. You should always be ready,” underscores her commitment to constant readiness.
Barretto believes in continual preparation, emphasizing the proactive approach rather than reactive cramming, “I believe in always being ready. Always preparing.”

“These things that I do only help make me a more secure and braver woman,” Julia said.
Barretto credited her supportive family, partner Gerald Anderson, and friends for providing a strong support system, enabling her to pursue challenging projects.
