Since it was established 23 years ago, Rockwell Land’s Power Plant Mall continues to be the place for upscale shopping. Interestingly, it does not rest on its laurels but continues to beef up its offerings by bringing in newer brands such as A.P.C., Patton, and unique multi-branded concept stores such as Maisonette.
“We continue to beef up our offerings by bringing in. Dining options are also more diversified with 12/10, a modern izakaya, The Perfect Pint and Pizza at The Proscenium Retail Row, and The Chef’s Table at The Balmori Suites, where we bring in the most-sought after local chefs such as Chefs Thirdy Dolatre and Kevin Navoa of Hapag, Chef Jordy Navarra of Toyo Eatery, Chef Aaron Isip of Balai Palma, Chef Lezo Pimentel of Soil Private Dining and Chef Sau del Rosario of Sawsaw,” Christine Coqueiro, Vice President for Retail, and Development explained in an email interview with the BusinesssMrror.

The fashion component also got bigger when SoFA Design Institute relocated to Rockwell this year, complementing the soon-to-rise Rockwell Performing Arts Theater at The Proscenium Retail Row at The Plaza. This offers a comprehensive cultural experience to the community.
Rockwell saw an opportunity to raise the bar of Manila’s fashion scene, expanding the offerings of Power Plant Mall. “Our aim is simple—provide a delightful shopping and dining experience to our patrons. We’re dedicated to enhancing the retail experience in our community by bringing retail spaces closer to them, such as The Proscenium Retail Row and The Balmori Suites, featuring unique lifestyle and dining concepts,” Coqueiro pointed out.
By offering more of what the market craves, Coquiero said Power Plant is determined to redefine upscale living and maintain Rockwell’s status as the “address of Fashionable Manila.”

To make shopping at the Power Plant more exciting, Rockwell Land launched a loyalty program where customers can earn points and redeem rewards on our mobile app, The Rockwellist. Moreover, Coqueiro said Power Plant mall has converted its annual Christmas raffle as it converted its annual car raffle stub to digital entries making it more convenient for their patrons to join.
At the moment, Power Plant Mall’s total gross leasable area is approximately 46,000 sq m. Soon, it will be expanding the Power Plant brand replicating the signature Rockwell retail experience in their properties outside Metro Manila, in Nepo, Angeles in Pampanga, and Bacolod.
Power Plant Mall developed a solid reputation as an upscale mall since it was established 23 years ago, and has expanded to over 300 stores, catering to the needs and wants of its residents and customers, who have come to regard the mall as their second home. Some of the longest staying tenants of Power Plant are Zaifu Japanese Restaurant, MilkyWay Cafe, Cafe Via Mare, Fino Leatherware, and Mosaic.
Apart from the Rockwell residents, Power Plant Mall strategically caters to a discerning clientele of high spenders. To show its appreciation to its clients, Power Plant recently launched a rewards program, the Rockwellist Rewards, which generously recognizes and incentivizes its most loyal customers.” This initiative solidifies Rockwell’s position as a go-to destination for those in pursuit of both quality and exclusivity,” Coquiero said.
To support sustainable development and reduce car footprint, Rockwell embraces the rise of electric vehicles, as the mall now features dedicated 50kW EV chargers, supporting CHAdeMO and CCS for rapid charging, accommodating diverse car brands. This is located at the P1 Parking Level.
“Aside from this, we also champion environmental responsibility through our Tarp to Tote initiative, where we repurpose used tarpaulin from mall advertising materials, in collaboration with Filipino designers and local social enterprises, reflecting Rockwell’s commitment to merging fashion and sustainability,” Coqueiro said.
